rfactor2 singleplayer not launching

I got my pc back which was for several days. I had rFactor 2 before this failure. Now the game does not launch anymore despite a good pc and that I was able to launch it without problem before

 

This is the same what you said in your previous post, but you are not describing what's happening.
You launch the program, and what happens? Nothing? Appears and disappears? Appears the UI and you cant go to race?
Lots of things can happen.

 

When I launch the game using the RF2 launcher, the game image keeps popping up and there is no way to close the tab. The only thing to do is to use the task manager and then close my game. This is the first time this has happened to me in 3 years of gameplay on RF2

oh, with old ui i don't know.

 

I don't think there's a good reason to keep using the old UI (well, I guess the old host button may appeal), and if it somehow becomes less stable or functional over time very few users will share your problem or solutions.

That said, have you reinstalled the runtimes?
