    I was wondering the same in the beginning.

    This setting should be directly in the car set up menu imho. Now, you have to leave the set up screen (by hitting settings button in the upper right of the screen and then go into the calibrate screen). Should be feasible without so many clicks ;)

    ...but does the game remember your car specific calibration for next time you drive it?

    Yes if you use the same car and livery.

    rFactor2 may be one of the last of the Sim's to not offer real-time ffb strength adjustment (per-car), not sure about ACC though. AMS2 will have it very soon, much needed imo. Being able to assign it to keys, buttons, or dials is ideal.

    Possibly, but not in the game. There is a file in the player folder called allvehicles.ini. Each car in rF2 is listed there along with several lines defining the position of the mirror and FFB etc.
    I just looked at my file and it says every car is set to 70%, so at some point I must have done a search and replace. But in-game, I think I still see cars with 100% ffb. So that is why I'm not sure it works.
    here is my (suposedly edited) line:
    FFBSteeringTorqueMult=0.700 <==that should be =1.000 to be 100%
    If you do a search and replace in most text editors, you could change that line to whatever value you like and choose the replace all option to cover the entire list.
