Chief if you are looking for suggestions a formula atlantic add on to the 70's pack would be a good one....
From my own attempts (I play only vintage cars) Belgium 66 is unusable with vintage cars. Probably something to do with track ai. Also rFactor2 Ai doesn't suit well vintage cars especially cars before 70s. Even on Le Mans 67 which has not many difficult curves it's hard to have a decent race with 60s cars. Mulsanne is a often total mess in the first laps. Monaco 66 has pits issues and too many crashes too. I have stopped using Belgium 66 track for this reason, though I find it one of the most beautiful tracks.
Mate icons would be great maybe when it’s finished I am thinking about 10 to 15 cars or until my motivation runs out
Ok last spam don't want to bore you all, next update when I hit 10 cars and I will release that as the next beta... Something about pinstripes and big chrome wheels says 1970's
Here is car 10 I will pack them up later today and post here so you can have some fun over easter... still a beta but i am improving Arguably one of the prettiest F5000 cars of this era, over the 5 or so years Goss raced his cars they showed up in many different configurations, using Chiefs amazing system its possible to produce a fairly good replica of this 78 version...
Folks link has been updated same as before still a beta just drop into the 0.94 folder and all should work cars show up under Formula 5000 again all credit to Chief I am just the dumb skinner Hope you have fun with it... https://www.mediafire.com/file/niif0fw23u2jqhm/Rothmans_Series_F5000_Teams.mas/file
Sorry all please note I made a mistake in the gen string for the Goss car its correct now same download link you may have to redownload my apologies....
Chief you are spoiling my surprises lol I was looking at maybe a 1973 or 74 Tasman series version next assuming I stay motivated FYI in 1974 frank matich who designed these car retired after an accident and sold two cars to John Goss the orange version is matich the two pics you have posted show these two cars the matich a53 above and the pescalaro version the matich a51/53. I love this era in Australia because the cars were so varied and the drivers had big personalities like the cars they drove. This is a good read if this topic interests you https://primotipo.com/2015/07/03/john-goss-bathurst-1000-and-australian-grand-prix-winner/ You can see how these cars took their design cues from the F1 cars... fasicanting stuff
