Is any track specialist having a real crack at this? I'd like to take it on a first project but I just know it will get the better of me as I don't have the skills yet for something so complex. Could be a real winner for rF2.
I don't know of anyone currently working on it. There is a rF1 version however from a few years ago. It is an awesome track with great scenery. It's fairly long and the scenery is complex, but the only real problem with taking it on as a first project is the size. Do you think you can hang in there and work on it for half a year, a year, perhaps more depending on how far you want to bring the track? You would have to learn all the methods and small tricks anyway, you might as well learn it on a track you're properly motivated for.
As told by one of the masters... Virtua-lm tracks are as good as they come. It was a special day when i got to test out rouen all those years ago Im my small time, i have found that every job you start seems to create 5-20 more todos and the farther i go the more work i realize i need to do. But as ethone said im learning as i go so it likely isnt very expedient
Did anyone mod this great RF1 track into RF2? There is also an assetto corsa version available on race department. Would be really cool to have this one for RF2.
