Took a couple of day off but video for Autodromo Claudio Vieytes will be up tomorrow and I have started work on Vallelunga.
i mean actually you can renew the AIW on every track. Either there is something wrong with the AIW itself, so the Ai spins etc... or AIW is fine but the Ai never uses the curbs like IRL. Especially the exit curbs.
Thanks guys, I'm going to be trying to add Wet lines to all the ones I work on from now on, I'm hoping @Marcel Offermans has time to respond to my Discord message. I'm trying to find info on Wet lines, drying line etc. just to make things more engaging and realistic, but I don't know what is available etc with the current build of rF2.
I would like to see a separate line for FCY behind the safety car. Not sure if rF2 has the ability to have a racing line, wet line and FCY line but it would be nice. I watch the V8 Supercars and when the safety car is out they all do the tyre warming curves and brake heating maneuvers then all get back in line for the start. It would be better than what they do now under FCY, which seems to be follow the formation lap path. Well that's my wish list
That would be very cool if possible and I'd definitely try to incorporate that stuff in anything I do.
Well S397 has been saying the AI and other off line stuff is going to get some love soon so.......maybe
This one took a couple of weeks to get right, I've updated the download link in the first post to be an update package.
Marcel said something along the lines of once the UI and competition system were sorted single player would get some love.
I'd think , depending on the team size and responsibilities, that any remaining shader work would also take precedence over any AI works.
As soon as Iracing offers AI rfactor 2 will probably have to defend their status as "Sim with the best AI", I guess.
Firstly, love your work mate. However having an issue getting the AIW installed for GC version (using the latest update 7b). Followed the YT instructions (got Bathurst working) but GC doesn't seem to want to install from the created rcmp? Just end up with a correctly named but empty folder with nothing in it. And no tick for install in the launcher. Im buggered if I know what I have done wrong, tried many a time. Would anyone have any idea which step I am missing, or be able to send me a working rcmp with the new AIW?
I hadn't updated the link in the first post to the rfcmp file, I have now. So install the base 0.7b track, then the update file in the first post and you'll be good to go.
