Yea I don't disagree, in the end its not that deep. I just like the idea that racing is a test of skill, and feels more rewarding with a perfectly level playing field. I'm pretty happy with the groups i've been in lately wether they're using assists or not. The most important thing is clean...
It is helpful for entering and exiting some of the trickier pits if you're on an unfamiliar track. And if I'm really new to a track it can help get a couple quick laps just to remember the layout. But I agree its not good to focus on it. The line definitely shouldn't be allowed during qualifying...
Since assists are apparently allowed in rookies and intermediate again. I'm wondering how that effects SR splits.
I like some of the rookie cars so will probably continue racing in them. But I'd much rather know that I'm in a split with nobody running assists.
I'm all for keeping the game fun...
Ok I guess that makes sense, still not sure how my Dr would be that high with only a handful of races and not a lot of great results. I'm sure it will level out the more seat time I get.
I would love to have the caterham in a permanent rookie series. Loved it at lime rock. That or the skip barber would be a blast and very good for learning. Lower speeds and lots of rotational control. Exaggerated weight transfer. All great for understanding and perfecting the fundamentals. (Not...
I'm confused about how driver rating is calculated. I had a decent race today, finished third from p6, pretty clean run. But the breakdown of the race said I was expected to qualify and finish p1... So I only got a minor uptick in DR.
I never put up a lap time less than 2 seconds off the...
From a rookie's perspective, I've been pretty happy with the available content so far.
If I could change anything it would be to swap the Tatuus for a regional skip barber. I realize the M2 kind of fills the role of a low downforce, weight shifting, momentum car. But in my mind nothing is better...
As the title says, is there a way to map the racing line to a button or on the keyboard so I can switch it on and off without leaving the car?
I like to use the racing line to learn new tracks a little quicker, but once I start gaining pace I want it off without having to pit and lose my...
