Nope. Got used to it I guess ‍♂️ I tried many things - usb audio interface, onboard audio, fiddling with the audio buffer settings etc etc. It might be a little less annoying now, so maybe it helped a little but it never went away entirely. I'll check again over the next week cause I'm abroad...

    Porsche GT3 Cup

it's GT3-R and the difference is huge. apart from both being rear engine they are two different classes of racing cars. The Cup is a feeder car that's supposed to teach you how to drive properly (sensibly), the GT3-R is a GT3 race car - way more downforce, way more grip overall, way better...

    THE REALITY OF SIM RACING.

What you're proposing is basically punishing people who are either faster than you or more willing to put in the hours in actual training. Not very sportsmanshippy if u ask me.

    THE REALITY OF SIM RACING.

People should really get over the notion of flattening the field to suit their inability to be the fastest. Do we really want socialism in simracing? I'm a middle of the pack guy (maybe slightly faster than that at times) and to me it's simple - the fair game is: who's fastest, should win...

    learning to drive

+1 for GT3 Cup and Skippy. USF2000 is also a good single seater but I'd recommend to start with Skippy.

    Porsche GT3 Cup

Exactly! I would add: the way u come off the brakes hugely influences this cars behavior on turn-in. Come off too abruptly with just a hint of steering input and the back will try and overtake you. So "gentle" is really the way to go with the Cup car (even though trashing it around is fun as hell)

    How about a TimeTrial mode?

if you limit the user to car and track selection with fixed weather it shouldn't be that work intensive especially when you have source code access.

Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

I see what you're saying - subtle difference. That's not what the s397 description states though.

    How about a TimeTrial mode?

I think implementing this should be simple enough to include it in the game. Plugins are okay, but it would be another hassle which honestly rFactor 2 should avoid at this point since ease of use is not its strongest suit and it's something that can put people off. I think rFactor 2 should...

Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

Yeah those are the specs from the 991 gen II. But the rfactor 2 Cup car is likely the 991 gen I. So 3.8L engine

Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

I would add to that: the audio you hear from onboards is distorted pretty heavily due to oversaturation of the microphone cause the volume is so high. So what you hear from onboards is usually not exactly how you'd hear it IRL. Having said that, I do think that the rf2 Cup cars engine does sound...

    How about a TimeTrial mode?

So I was thinking... I often find myself not having time to setup a race or race a league race. But I often have a couple minutes to just lap a track without any obligation. Wouldn't it be nice to have a TimeTrial mode just like Automobilista has? Online leaderboard is a no brainer. Starting a...

Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

Hell yeah! I was actually thinking about a TimeTrial mode ala Automobilista. Would be a great thing for rf2. I mean not everyone has the time to race leagues or even AI, but often one still finds a couple minutes a day to do a few laps without any obligations.

    Porsche GT3 Cup

GT3RS is the road going track day car. GT3R is the internal Porsche naming of the GT3-class car. Otherwise it would had to be called the 911 GT3 GT3 (since there is already a road going 911GT3 too).

Released Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (2018) is now available!

Fantastic car! Being a Porschephile I must admit this is the best Cup car in simracing so far. Every 911 trait is there and if you know how to drive it it is a blast and the car will pretty much do whatever you ask of it - including sideways action. It punishes sloppy driving and requires...
