Can the dev's please regain control of the r/rfactor2 subreddit?

The mod of the rFactor2 subreddit going power mad, locking anything even remotely critical of rFactor2 and making you guys look pretty bad IMO

Anybody want to get paid to make me a track?

Hi, I can do basic kart tracks based off the public data (between 1 and 5m accurate for most tracks), I don't believe any of the AKC tracks have lidar. There are also a couple of tracks available for Kart Racing Pro, they might be able to help I plan on having The Bend available soon, if you...

Thanks for removing gjed, how are people who didn't buy 8 year old software at the time meant to make content now?

    Another tragedy: Sean Edwards

Very Sad news, someone who contributed to plenty of rfactor mods heavily.

    Replacing our Flaggies!

Can we replace the current flag animations with new ones? They don't put enough energy into the waving, and makes it hard to notice far-off flag's. Also, Can we do digiboards like F1 have with the current system? They are lazy sod's, these current flaggies of ours! I demand they be replaced...

    LiDAR circuit models

I remember way back an announcement that rF2 would be capable of using point cloud data. Can't remember if that's still true or not. Personally I would love it if there was some homebrew Lidar project out there that might be cheap for us amateurs to use.

    LiDAR circuit models

Within rF I would love to use laser data to create a seperate driving mesh (different from the visible mesh that most tracks atm use for physics), and majorly increase the data used to really show what's possible with laser scanning in rfactor. Thinking along those lines, if you were to laser...

    LiDAR circuit models

It surprises me that only one person has remembered the LS and Lidar tracks we have atm (Eastern Creek and Oran Park), and these tracks are great at showing the pro's and con's of laser scanning. The most obvious con is that these do not do the best job with the data, with the track being too...

    Number of cams

BlimpCam wouldn't be an answer in OP's case, due to the way that track is made unforcinatly. 128 isn't really enough while keeping the illusion of the track :(

    Rfactor 2 licences

because there still plenty of people who don't have a stable internet connection, or don't have their games computers connected to the internet. Once-off checks on install is all that should be needed for off-line

    Rfactor 2 licences

I'ld like to see a system like lfs or VGP3, where your licence is tied to a username and password and you need that to unlock. I wouldnt like to see steam, as it can be a pain in the arse when playing offline sometimes. Plus, steam will cause issues when creating different rfactor installs like...
