Good sim times ahead, my young lad. You will probably experience photoreal graphics with exact tire simulation in your lifetime.
48. Just got my wisdom teeth out. So great to eat normally again after so long. I also have a bad back. Look after your back you guys in you twenties. I still like sim racing. I enjoy the activity.
Why f1 racing drivers retire before 40 years old? Too much physically demanding or is about loosing reflexes?
That was one thing I liked about sim racing, not getting beat up in the car. Even with a seatbelt. It is more physical then you think. Even a static sim cockpit is physically demanding if you're pushing it to the limit. And a sim like rF2 with a good wheel is pretty demanding. I can only imagine the workout a DD wheel would be like. I remember the first time pushing a car to the limit on the back roads, forestry cutlines plus ditch jumping when doing some rally driving with some friends back in the 80's. I found out quickly that you had to wear a seatbelt. Not because of safety but it was to keep you behind the wheel. Seriously!! And this was before seatbelt laws. The best car was a chevy 350 small block four door boat. 4x4 trucks and jeeps could not keep up and they broke down more.
10 behind but still rocking and rolling, driving as well. Still getting excited when beating 18 year old son in RBR.
