48. Just got my wisdom teeth out. So great to eat normally again after so long. I also have a bad back. Look after your back you guys in you twenties. I still like sim racing. I enjoy the activity.

Why f1 racing drivers retire before 40 years old? Too much physically demanding or is about loosing reflexes?

That was one thing I liked about sim racing, not getting beat up in the car. Even with a seatbelt. It is more physical then you think. Even a static sim cockpit is physically demanding if you're pushing it to the limit. And a sim like rF2 with a good wheel is pretty demanding. I can only imagine the workout a DD wheel would be like.

I remember the first time pushing a car to the limit on the back roads, forestry cutlines plus ditch jumping when doing some rally driving with some friends back in the 80's. I found out quickly that you had to wear a seatbelt. Not because of safety but it was to keep you behind the wheel. Seriously!! And this was before seatbelt laws.
The best car was a chevy 350 small block four door boat. 4x4 trucks and jeeps could not keep up and they broke down more.
