I did. It took som minutes to download the files again. Nothing changed. Still no plugins with 64 bit.
Just in case....have you a rfactor 2 folder in your documents, too? Could persist from an earlier version/installation
what plugin you want to install : note in the steam version there is no more rf2 documents folder used
Im not sure if this came through properly. But you didnt tick that in the launcher right? The 32bit forced tick square. Dont know if that matters regarding your issue though.
You're right. If this box is checked, 32-bit Mode is on. plugins work. Box unchecked: 64-bit Mod enabled -> plugins don't work (except TrackIR, which i do not use). Do you have another idea what could be? I am at the end of my wits'
Could you upload your 64bit Deltabest ini file. I could test it to see if something is amiss. Have you got the four default dll files in the 64bit plugin folder yet? KnockoutQualifying.dll SteamPlugin.dll StockCarRules.dll TrackIR_rF2_Plugin.dll
Afaik DB is working without the ini file, too. For testing would be enough, to remove the ini file. //Edit: tested, DeltaBest is working without the ini file, too.
I removed the deltabest files from bin32 folder, no success. I removed removed DB from bin64 folder, but still the other plugins (StockCarRules, KnockOutQuali,...) do not appear. I am quite sure, this has nothing to do with DeltaBest itself! It is a problem of my installation of rf2. Is there a log-File we can look into, to find an error log or something similar?
rF doesn't have log files. (edit, don't listen to him, he knows ten tenths of bugger all. ) Maybe remove (to desktop) the Bin64 folder and do a verify game files check.
It have, you must add something in the settings page, added as start command for single player...cant remember, what it is...
I removed the Bin64 folder, did a verify, all files were restored, and nothing changed. The only plugin which appears in the plugin list is TrackIR. The three other plugins do not.
Maybe there are some libraries missing for the plugins? What libs - or something else - does the plugins need to run?
To start rF2 with log, just add in the launcher settings (TAB SinglePlayer) +trace=3 //Edit: log files should appear in .\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Log as trace<date>.txt
Danke Jürgen, i did it. I found the following lines within the logfile: 41.37s PluginManage 336: Analyzing plugin "DeltaBest.dll" 41.37s PluginManage 81: Could not load plugin Bin64\Plugins\DeltaBest.dll with LoadLibrary(); GetLastError()=193 41.37s PluginManage 336: Analyzing plugin "KnockoutQualifying.dll" 41.37s PluginManage 81: Could not load plugin Bin64\Plugins\KnockoutQualifying.dll with LoadLibrary(); GetLastError()=193 41.37s PluginManage 336: Analyzing plugin "SteamPlugin.dll" 41.37s PluginManage 81: Could not load plugin Bin64\Plugins\SteamPlugin.dll with LoadLibrary(); GetLastError()=193 41.37s PluginManage 336: Analyzing plugin "StockCarRules.dll" 41.38s PluginManage 81: Could not load plugin Bin64\Plugins\StockCarRules.dll with LoadLibrary(); GetLastError()=193 41.38s PluginManage 336: Analyzing plugin "TrackIR_rF2_Plugin.dll" 41.38s PluginManage 375: Successfully loaded plugin "TrackIR_rF2_Plugin.dll" 41.38s PluginManage 996: Unloading plugin "TrackIR_rF2_Plugin.dll" because it is disabled according to custom plugin settings Does somebody know what to do?
I would email that to support if I were you... you seem to be have found a weird problem. That Log may be helpful to them
Thats strange. From a quick search its seems, that this error appears, if a x86 dll is forced to run in a x64 system... @rf2nidi could you please check, wich path is in the file data.path? .\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Core Also, you could run all exe files in this folder: .\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Support\Runtimes to reinstall the runtimes. Maybe this would solve this issue.
