Just wondering where ISI are up to regarding rain effects, the effects that were shown 3 years ago (Sept 2010) for rF2 before beta was released were not to bad but we have seen nothing like it since?
Grubby, problem was it was coming through the windshield and filling up the car with water. This was adding weight and effecting the driving handling model.. Simulated drivers started to drown in their cockpits and hence to save virtual lives it was removed
People complain that rF2's performance is awful, and then you want to add this performance killer on top of that ? It'd be an awesome feature to get, but seriously...
I have no problems with framerate But I recognize that it could run more effectively.. On the other hand I think we all want to run it on max settings and that is imposible..
That's the point, ISI should get their finger out They should both fix the low framerate on poor AMD users AND improve gfx + the countless bugs and undone groundbreaking features... rF2 will be worth something in 2020 maybe...
What's the problem? Endless conversations about the schedule. Evolution passed into degradation. Graphics rf1 most balanced performance and result visualization. Early screenshots rF2 demonstration qualitatively, current situation. Excuse me, but I do not understand the progress of plans ISI. Even the selection of cars (the pictures) in terms of design looks awful. You need fresh air and young talent + new graphics engine. Completely new. Many years already standing still. Permanent excuses and long, confused perspective. Just sad. : (
I really want this too but tbh I think we are all dreaming if its added any time soon, look how long smoke and rain spray took and it still not great. I have bearly played any online games with rain change not through choice, theres a lack of intrest generally, so it might be a hint that its low priority for now.
