Well : NO At first it broke all my sounds settings+my csw So I had to find drivers for my soundblaster and got the latest beta for csw. Happy : no, I'm still missing win7-64 Now everythings ok but win8&8.1 lacks of start menu is totally silly !!! Except from that, everything works like before.
Using CSW with beta drivers 174 with CSPv2 on W8.1. Fanatec Wheel properties are: Wheel Angle = 900 Dampening Strength = 0% In rF2: Vehicle Set = Ticked Green Specific Car FFB Multiplier = x1 FFB Smoothing = 0 On the Rim: Sen = 900 FF = 100 SHo = 100 AbS = 85 (I like the vibration on the pedals) LIn = OFF dEA = OFF drI = 2 For = 120 SPr = OFF dPr = OFF
Hi gagipro, Just to add: SHo option is there only if you want to feel the vibrations in the Rim, otherwise set to OFF AbS option if you have CSPv2 and want to feel the vibration on the brake pedals (mine is set at 85%), otherwise set to OFF Try drI at 1, 2 or 3 depending on preference. This is how much resistance you can feel as you turn the wheel in For is variable from car to car but generally I have it between 100-150, 120 is a sweet spot I am comfortable with on most vehicles.
Ok Yes exact sale config, cspv2 Css sq will arrive in december. FOR 120 on the wheel but howmuch in the sim? 1.00 and 0 old samples? I had the ABS working before 8.1 upgrade. Don't know why it's not working anymore ...
I just leave the FFB multiplier as 1.00 in-game & reduce the FFB Filter to 0 (I think default is 4). After upgrading to 8.1 I had a host of different issues & ended up doing a complete uninstall of all Fanatec drivers/software and unplugging all the devices and starting from scratch. I am also using FanaLED v2.0c. Hope that helps.
Does anyone know how to setup fanaleds to use the virbration motors in the wheel rim of my CSR-Elite like you would be able to with the vibration motor on the CSP brakes for rf2?
Think it's in rF2 I remember I had ABS vibration in my recent Asseto Corsa "test" ... Well, I think, I only played AC for 30 minutes and went back to rF2 ...
Hello, I think that the first thing to do with CSW is to put Sen=off because rf2 control this value. This my setting and it work really good. Sometime after playing other simulation game i forgot to change my setting and rf2 FFB is very bad! For sure Sen=off is the setting for rf2
Interesting that it effects the FFB, I will try tonight. Ultimately by having Vehicle Set ticked, I get the rotation needed for that car regarding what I have set in Fanatec Software in Windows or as Sen on the wheel. But will try it at OFF and see how it effects FFB.
I was under the impression that if Dampening Strength was at 100% (or 80% or 50% etc) on the Fanatec Settings, then if set to OFF on the wheel it should be off, or if set at 10 on the wheel = 10% of the 100% (or 80% or 50% etc). However, I am certain that when 100% on the settings and OFF on the wheel, there is definitely still a dampening effect going on.
Okay had a brief try around Toban with the Clio's, once with Sen = OFF, and the other with Sen = 900 & yes there is a difference in FFB or I am imagining it, but with Sen = OFF my wheel was rattling a lot more, so with Sen = 900 it is like there is a dampening/filtering effect on the FFB. I will do some more testing later with different cars/tracks & report back. However I'm not sure if I like all that rattling going on
