Bathurst! FINALLY HAPPENING! I mean, yay!.. Well, we do have many tracks that are very good! Almost all are a blast for me, but Bathurst allways is a real thrill!
I'm really happy with this news Since some time I really started to appreciate this track. I think I first got to know it in 'Race Driver 1', and didn't like it back then, but then in 2 and/or 3 (can't remember), and gt6 I really got in love with the flow of the track, and also the challenges of the nearby barriers on most parts I think that after it's release this will be one of my main tracks in rF2 for the (near) future
My GUESS is that they off course provide the licence, but also some data to the third party, as well as technical support/help when the third party would need it. But like I said, I GUESS, so I'm not sure either
Well I'm just curious if they (ISI) actually do something or they just give their name to the project so the track/car can have bigger publicity.
Also even more doubt, if license will exist for any kind of famous track, that they(ISI) will give it to 3rd party.
They provide assistance and resources if they(what they) have it, to ensure 3rd party team do consistent art style that will look similar as much as possible to ISI scratch made tracks. We need to look at those projects as quality approved projects (mods) from ISI.
yes but its an interesting question, are they just putting their stamp on it or is there direct involvement? 'affiliate' isnt entirely clear to me.
Detailed answer on that matter can provide only ISI. Edit: And they do very fast https://twitter.com/ISITrackTeam/status/641251751316881408
"For those wondering, 3PA is a concept that means we do none, some or lots of the work involved, but usually something in between, vaguely " https://twitter.com/ISITrackTeam?lang=en
Reiza was third ISI so I think everyone is professional and high quality material without much help from ISI
Well Bathurst is in my top3 tracks list (I guess I'm not alone ) so I just would like to see this to be as accurate as possible (like Silverstone) that's why I'm a little bit concerned. I was hoping ISI does some kind of "quality control" which doesn't just mean graphics and bugs but accuracy/reality check.
Depends on the source. Some can provide content and make it rF2 ready, some can't (for whatever reason). ISI guys are usually involved at some point, for various lengths of time.
