Mrslfrsl... My last post should have read "Even nicer rig... " not Even nice... Damn typos... hate em...
Track looks nice. Really calm tone. Car looks nice. Really rude tone I look forward to giving them both a run. buuuut, are there any other trackside cam groups? I've not seen a race broadcast there since F1 left Estoril so I don't remember it all that well, but I be surprised if they now use so many cameras positioned inside the safety fences. If those aren't like the broadcast cameras, can there be broadcast-style cams as well? This I do remember though... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i72SExnu4jE
I don't know what is pleclair intention that teasing us with something that Kunos understandably will never allow to release. Mostly because they even not alowed to do that by licensing deal bound only to their title.
Heh heh, a converted laser scanned Nords for rF2 would certainly save me about 33 GB of HD space, that's for sure. I would have next to no reason to keep AC installed, seeing how Nords is the only current reason I'm keeping AC.
So in this case, AC will be first game then(from your perspective), that you pay for uninstall to hehe
I just never use it anymore, that's the problem. It just fills up space. When I see a real life video of Nords I get an urge to drive the laser scanned version in AC, but a lap or two just feels like a bucket of cold water in the face. Personally, I would give my right arm to feel the physics and force feedback of rF2 on a laser scanned Nords. No wait, then I can't shift gears anymore...
Is safe to say, there is no one here who would not want to see AC Nord in rF2, but that is not even up to Kunos. Of course there are still probably theoretical possibilities(and this will be something wonderful if it happened), but for that you need perfect collaboration and relationship between two companies (in this case between three).
Yeah, sounds like utopia to me, sadly... But it seems that the Nords laser scanned data is becoming more and more widespread in the industry, so who knows what will happen in the future.
I just don't think the industry is geared for such "open mindedness" atm. There's too much at stake. I seriously doubt Kunos would want its users to experience the physics and ffb of rF2 on their track... I've seen tons of sim racers who, like me, would leave AC for good instantly if laser scanned Nords became available for rF2. Personally I would pay for the opportunity to have it available (yes, I know ISI won't do pay DLC).
Nobody's talking about charity. I'm not, anyway. You'd have to be pretty naive to fantasize about making the track free for all to use. Money would need to exchange hands somehow...
I completely agree and understand. I don't wish that this track should be shared or published illegally, not at all. Don't get me wrong. I'm just wishful thinking that some sort of legal way of making this track available to us was possible. But I also understand why it isn't possible atm. We'll see what the future brings.
