Well, I must have missed reading that bit in the release...hrrr *Commences multiple backups up of all rF2 cars and tracks...* XD
That would be smart. Yes, some licenses are limited, this is a fact with most devs and their cars in their software. You have to keep renewing if you want to keep them around. Renault were signed way too early (before I was with the company). Most cars I've signed state "lifetime of the product" or have no end date at all, which means they aren't going anywhere. I posted that news item on purpose, and Minibull picked up on why.
Sorry if this question is ignorant, but does that mean that cars could disappear when a future build is installed?
It could disappear from ISI website in the future but as per default, anything that is posted on the interweb will remain there forever
Problem for me too many people are driving altered cars already which is useless and pointless as beta feedback imo. Like most everyone bags the stock cars in one area or another, but the Nissan mod is "awesome " ? That does not sound very scientific to me. lol
Tim - while you are active here and talking about Renault, and since you also have ties to Williams - any chance for a 98/99 BTCC Renault Laguna? Please please. That would be "awesome"!
Unfortunately I think a lot of the info would have to come from Williams, and since CM licensed from them some of their older cars, they're not talking anymore. I'm assuming CM got some kind of exclusivity, which is just business.
Thanks Tim, too bad, really amazing car. Had the opportunity to work on one that ended up in Canada running regional races. Could only find 5 parts that looked original to the car, Williams even changed the door hinges. Was great to see it run around Mosport even while at a cautious pace. Just thought I would ask, really happy with everything offered so far. THANKS.
