I plan on using BTsync to sync ALL of my packages with all of my racing friends. That way Vmods for online play always have the same cars and tracks installed. Frankly something rF2 should have built into itself.
You can use MSI Afterburner to monitor the GPU temp in real time. If it rises quickly, it's possible a buildup of dirt on the fan or maybe the fan is simply not spinning. Then I would check if you have the latest drivers. Hope that helps a bit. Also, have you tried other games?
Seams build 342 came just right in time to confuse us even more (dark matter) http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/16769-Build-342-vs-300-in-cockpit-comparison
New Version looks really excellent. I wonder how its possible for you to make it better while the last version was almost perfect to me Only real problem i see is that driving the carussell and schwalbenschwanz ( along with all curbs ) emits smoke, hope that will be fixed
@ pleclaire, could you please include version number in the loading screens? If you choose a server you don't know on which track version you drive.
Hi, thanks for help. I used CPUID HWMonitor in the end. it had all the information: CPU&GPU temps ,voltages and some more. Voltages are stable. CPU works fine after taking out graphic card so its not it. 90% chance its graphic card...pitty,the soonest i will get new graphic card will be in a month
Graphic cards can throw out the craziest symptoms. Some times the only way you can narrow the problem down is if it completely quits. If your over 50, a month goes by extremely fast.
My favorite spot on the Ring. Trees look good with inverted normal maps. Spec maps behave like they should. Well done pleclair!!! Maybe you can send me two or three example tree sets (large oak trees) with different lighting?
I thought this might need a bump as things were moving quickly at that time. Thanks again Pleclair! Thanks to Tosch also, It is great to see collaboration like this.
Yes, needed a bump, I completely missed it and was wondering why nobody was sharing/downloading 097e. btw, donation is on the way
Just download BTSync, then "Add a Sync Folder" and enter the long key shown above, ie BKROCQ56KRLW332HJSXJV4IKBWGQKVYVH in the folder secret field, select a destination folder on your computer and hit OK. Download/Sync commences. Job done.
I have this file Ring_Tourist_0.97f.rfcmp.!sync -- how do I know when it has finished transferring? Presumably i rename to remove the .!sync suffix and drop into folder as usual?
