    For the skins what are the file formats/DDS type each skin should be saved to...
    I'm getting an error while saving the banner DDS...
    is it possible to create one with gradient transparency?

    Second Item... Sound. I cant seen to get it right.. the opponents cars are barely noticeable(player car sound are fine)...
    Any one has an ideal setup... (first time I had to play with sound for a specific MOD).

    Can't you just adjust the "Opponent Volume" in the sound options?

    agree with the opponents they are just too quiet

    yeah but it's still not enough for me, plus then when switching mods you have to remember to turn them back down again :p

    It's not to bad with a slightly modified spec map. But it's not a good solution because all cars share the same spec map.

    While back ive asked ISI for option to add this values into veh actually.
    Under skin assignment that would override the default ones just for specific car you want. This could work for reflections and for specular.

    It's one of the things holding back rFactor visually, to me. It can't be that hard to implement surely? It's been in games for years.

    This would be a good solution when this sim is updated to 64bit. With the current limitations it's a killer. :D
    btw I have cheated a bit and resized the spec map to 4096x4096 to make it look more grainy which results in 10.6 MB for the spec map alone. :eek:

    Hi Ales,
    i did many laps with your mod last few days. the darch pit crew is absolutly the fastest ;-) they do a 4 tires change in about 13 sec.... all the other teams take more than 20 sec.
    also when requesting a pit stop, in the vette you can choose type of tire for each tire. but in darche you can only choose all 4 together. don't know which one would be correct, think the darche. should just be the same in all cars...

    Yeah, those things will be adjusted with new update.

    Tomorow ill have first Ferruccio cockpit ingame screens. Done alot over weekend there. LCD, driver missing now.

    Haha, Ferruccio...hilarious, the father of Lamborghini, Ferrari would be royally angry! Wonder what the prototype names will be? Audi, Toyota, Darche = Horch, Kiichiro, Darche (obviously)? Lotus, Lola = Colin, Broadly? Haha, can't wait for the prototypes!

    Still somethings missing but overall the base is ingame now with textures.

    I wouldn't do so many, it will overload the opponent selection list (one entry by six cars, and three more global categories). Maybe better to just do one by car so they can be selected individually, and one global for all togehter.

    Nice cockpit on the Italian, might turn out second best next to Darche... still a damn shame the AM is so basic in comparison (and real life).

    The global ones will probably be prefered. You will just click later on WEGT and WEP and run full grid rather than seleckt each car separetly.

    I ended up justgiving the cars the real life name onluy, other wise as said can overload the opponent list. And its not hard to choose all to make up the GT grid.

    Ales.@ that cockpit looks the nuts!!!

    well done, im in awe how you do that!!
