I don't post on the forums much - more of a lurker . These skip barber cars are just fantastic! And it has brought more people online too (at least on my times). I think by how equal the poll is indicates that ISI has done well with both sets of tires too. Lime rock is a perfect track for these little cars, Love it!
Lmao I am on the tube using my iPhone, I meant to click I like both but I accidently clicked regional! And to be 100% honest I prefer the National, not because anything is wrong with regional, I just prefer racing on slicks
i wonder if something is wrong with my FFB i personally like the national better, but after all the calssic F3 and F2 have a much better FFB and feel to them than the skippy...at least for me
Simply both! For a quick race i prefer national, but to train my reflexes the regional is the better choice. btw. seems to me like the Skippy AI are a lot more fighting than in other Mods.
Well I thought it would be a wash for the National, but after seeing some preferences here for the BFG g-Force Sport tire, I took a break and ran the Regional car for a bit at Limerock . Flip a coin BTW, absolutely lovely details on this car, so much so in fact that you can see machine screw threads on the exhaust hanger clamp, soot washed to the lowest point in the exhaust pipe, brake lines, radial venting on the disk brakes, detents on the rear anti-roll bar...and that the g-Force Sport tire has the R1's sidewall. OK, that's gotta be the worst nit-pick, eh?
You need to choose which before you enter the race, this is done by selecting your vehicle & on the select page there is a option in the middle 'Tuning' & in there is the option of 'Visor Mod' & Regional or National Tires. EDIT: You might also want to check the selected tires as opponent only in the race option.
I like both equally, but what I don't like is having them both in the same room at the same time. The number of times I've crashed into the back of a Regional while driving a National you don't want to know . National cars you can brake later, so you thinking where's this guy in front going to brake? Is he in a Nat car or Req? Bamm, sorry, I guess he was in a regional . Need a way to tell what car is what, they both look the same to me.
