Only thing I can think of. Do you use a archived packages folder ? If you did it is downloading to rFactor2/Packages not the folder you pathed. I think your using a old copy without realising it. No logic that your rooms works and 100 don't.
game is fresh install build 125 FULL. i delete everything from my pc, both data and core rfactor2 folders. default path install. no overwrites, 100% clean. new plr new multiplayer.ini the only thing remains before a new install is the credentials folder at appdata/roaming/.rfactor i aknowledge my server may in fact not be working, i am host and relied on a member to test, said it worked last night. still, the old man server is working right now, so there is something were missing. the old man servers are build 125
Well, I just looked again. Found the "old man racing" servers. And, yes indeed, I can use their "Get MOD" button successfully. Dang!
I think I have found out what is wrong..BUT..Please check out F3 Fanatics test...and let me know if it works for you folks. If It does..I will tell you how I fixed it for Bryan
I have a new issue, I can get the GET MOD to work. I had Bryan create a new mod package and request a new ID for it from ISI. After doing this, we were able to have the GET MOD work 1 or 2 times. then the server will crash with the below error. Faulting application rFactor2Dedicated.exe, version 1.1.2.5, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x6f6c6c61. Let me know please by doing what I said above about creating a new package with a new ID lets the GET MOD work for any-one else..and if it crashes after a couple of people down load it.
I gave the room a test, mod downloaded and I got in. Well done . Not sure how you fixed, are mods made in the last 24 hours work or something?
I just had Bryan create a new Vmod, and request a new ID for it. I think that and I am not sure about this, But, Mods created B4 the last build installed are the culprit I have never made a Vmod B4 so I had to get Bryan to try this for me and so far it has worked. Vmods B4 this build are not being recognized I think
Just made a few more vMODs and uploaded them to the server. We shall see! *** UPDATE *** I just made 5 more mods... I guess 6 per day is the limit... They don't work. Could it be the length of the name of the vMOD? The one that works is just named "test". The others were name, like, "1960s Cars at fill in the blank" Just a thought. If someone would like to make a short named vMOD, send it to me, I'd like to maybe test this tonight.
Why don't people just update their mods regular and post them in the appropriate forum here like DJ does for the Mirror Mod. Then people get information as well rather then just a GETMOD which tells you nothing. Another reason , if you have moved packages to a archive location any mods that are downloaded or mods created go to the default packages only.

Well you have a heaps of rooms that are old builds. So because some members are too bone arsed lazy to remove old rooms I have to put up with them. GET RID OF THEM ......... only asked since build60. lol Then you have same cars using 5 different mods lmao Then you dont know who is using old tracks new tracks till you get a fail GET MOD so you would need to have the lot in packages ...that's just plain stupid. Who in their right minds wants to run old versions. imho ISI server should only have official content cause I don't have a clue if addons are causing some of the problems. Now build125 you cant even finish a race without a crash. No rubber Wonderful ! lol
It's Beta man just take a pill and relax there big guy. Oh, and it's not to hard to take a quick look to determine who's up to date and who is not. Once it goes gold it will be even easier.
