I fixed the patchy road by deleting my "player.PLR" file in Userdata/player and just let the game make a new one give it a shot.
That is probably because they are part way through development of another skin delivery method. The current way was largely horrible.
Those aren't shadows......it's even worse with shadows off at some parts because the real shadows don't cover them up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/90582162/GRAB_002.JPG And some other issue: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/90582162/GRAB_000.JPG
I don't worry about fps as long as it does not move off 60fps. lol I do not have rubber issues no zebras apart from bumpy tracks, well looks okay to me. View attachment 4334 I like the darker tyre maybe one shade to much.
No,I didn't say this but our job is to report these issues in order to fix them but we have to be patient and don't press the panic button!
It looks like it is the download which failed, which will probably be issues with the server. The guys will be enjoying looking through server logs on Monday. If it is unable to recover and resume, that;s also something they'll fix, but in the meantime if it can't, I'd grab the full installer if this happens to you. Thanks for testing it.
To fix zebra shadow textures delete "player.PLR" file in Userdata/player and just let the game make a new one
Not completely sure, but I think all tracks now require a saved rubber file, which would be the default rubber layer. More info on the new features here, sort of: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/8191-Real-road-and-ambient-sound-etc
Did you read the build notes over the past 10 months? Or, today even? because your post looks a bit silly to me.
