Cheers Tosch. Nice skins Greg 1704 and JGraf... And yeh, I agree with Tosch... some Gibson Flying V would be cool.
Added more skins to C6R community skinpack . The name and version of the package is the same but with added skins. First uninstall the previous version and remove it from the packages folder. The two versions are fully compatible online. You must have the original ISI mod installed . C6.R GT2 NEW VERSION DOWNLOAD Thanks for the skins
I really wish people that make skins would learn how to do an ambient occlusion pass. It makes all the difference in how the skin looks in game.
The templates should (and do) come with an AO layer, the problem is that the ones coming with the ISI templates are not that good.
If your going to drop a line like that maybe it would be useful it you explained it better. After all, 98% of people doing liveries have not spent 4 years at Uni learning how to use Photoshop and other similar programs. Their self tort and learn from others that put some tutorial on youtube. Half of which are just people that are self tort anyway. You say it like it's common knowledge and everyone knows or should know what your talking about. So for you it's easy! Maybe true but everything is easy when you know how, Isn't it? I'd suggest you give us 98% ters your higher educated knowledge and give the rest of us the opportunity and knowledge of what a Ambient Occlusion past dose and how it's done. Simple I'm sure. Still only to those that know. [Edit] Ambient Occlusion Past? Also know as the Shading layer. Light Map Render. But most know it as the Shading layer. And yes the ISI cars Shading layers are bad. That is due to bad mapping as well. To suggest that the painter should do this Shading layer is bizarre. It's made by rendering to model in 3D max, V-Ray and/or other similar programs. For anyone to do this, you first need the programs, then the model to be imported into 3D Max but I'm sure you already know this. Many don't know how to edit and use the Alpha Channel. This is evident by how many skins still carry the old ISI liveries ghosting their work. ISI guy's need to learn how to use the Alpha channel. Shouldn't say that seeing as their content is so fantastic and all.
