Yes. Both examples show how cars hit the curbs in an unusal way!
    Clear case (for me) !
You can´t blame the curbs (respective the constructor) for that.

Well either the curbs launches cars or they don't. If they do they of course need to be changed. Should be pretty obvious. There has already been too many accidents like that recently. But as always people are too stupid and blind to do anything about it before the worst happens. Just like it's always been.

Cars launching over curbs is so lethal it's not even funny. If the car goes up high enough and lands bottom first, spinal compression is very likely.

There's also the chance of the car getting launched into another car, maybe even in head hight of another driver.

If the curbs were different the cars wouldn't get launched. So of course the curbs are to blame, unusual circumstances or not.

Be prepared to for once feel like being genuinely inside of the first Alien movie. The fear is palpable.

I'm loving every second of this. It's slow paced but intentionally if you want to survive. The alien is so bad ass.

Let me put it another way. The game is more true to the first alien movie than all the other movie sequels.

Perfect graphics + perfect gameplay mechanics + EPIC sound tracks (true to the movie) = win, win, win!

fyi, i'm currently cowering under a bed trying to build up the courage to venture further. :p

You can hear it in the ceiling...it's an awesome sense of continuous terror, lol.

It's a pretty impressive AI they've made for the alien too. Very unpredictable and it will change speed from mega fast to dead slow, so there's an element of chance involved with when you decided to move out of your hiding hole. Awesome when i was in a locker in a long corridor the one time and it ran right past me at full speed and all you see is a blur followed by it's looooong blurry tail.

The game works so well because you can't do ***t to defend youself which only makes it more terrifying, lol.

LOVE IT! You just made a sale there, buddy. I get a week off from work from tomorrow, and I'm totally gonna spend it in fear ftw. ;)

You are so gonna s*** you pants a few dozen times. :p

Oh and btw, when i said "i'm currently cowering under a bed trying to build up the courage to venture further", i meant a virtual bed, lol. Left it a bit ambiguous, just wanted to clarify i'm not a complete chicken s***. :D

You have to hear the audio in this game. Amazing sound tracks and amazing environmental effects.

I was going to play with a controller but the looking speed wasn't fast and precise enough for my comfort. When you're being preyed on by a 9+ foot tall alien, last thing you want is a slow response, lol.

I'm going to advise you do something next, it's about the storyline but it won't really spoil it, maybe just a tiny tiny bit but i want to tell you because i've seen 5 walkthrough videos of people playing a certain area and they completely missed the "HOLY F***" moment because they left the area too soon. Read on if you're ok with that and want to know. It's worth it if you ask me.

When you first encounter the alien, get into the train when it arrives but do not immediately leave. I'll let discover the rest. :D

This I simply cannot wait to experience! I've been anxiously awaiting the reviews and what players think of the game. It seems that someone FINALLY nailed the proper alien experience without superfluous action and explosions. Awesome stuff. :)

I added something to the end of my last post.

Yeah, based on reviews as well that seemed to have been the problem with all other alien games. The moment you have a means to kill them and easily and repeatedly, they're not so terrifying. It ends up feeling more like Serious Sam : Aliens Edition or something.

No, no, no....this one is the real McCoy. 1 Alien, 0 defense....100% s**ting yourself.

Not to mention the other alien games weren't so graphically great. This game is a piece of art from all directions, not least of all in the graphics department.

Ok, i've recharged my courage battery. Time to go back in. It's so damned immersive. Kinda glad it doesn't have rift support if i be honest. I reckon i'd be in full paralysis.

Thanks for pointing this out. Just saw it has DK2 support so I guess I will buy this. I haven't even watched the Alien movies but I was waiting for a horror/shocker game in VR, going to scream like a little girl I guess :D

crz, you have to watch the first alien movie before you play this game. It's a must.

I can only imagine how ****ing terrified if playing this on the rift...seriously.

It's one thing to be immersed into the alien game on a monitor. It's an entirely other kettle of fish to be transported into that world and see the alien in it's full glory in dark corridors.

If there is such a thing as 'fear induced psychosis' I guess that would be pretty likely using the rift. :D
