Maybe update few older tracks and cars (CPM) first and rFactor2 needs also updated multiview UI. Third party mod makers needs also a wake up call.
Id love to see a hud tacho and gear indicator in period style . (to suit the Cobra atm )realistic 'smith' Chrome surround etc..
While reading you guys talking about cockpit interactivity, just after a few hours flying in X-Plane, reminded me that what would really be nice, and I really hope that it was considering during the whole "rule system" stuff, as well as some peculiarities of Stock Cars (Spek Gauges), is to provide more variables for us to work with during modding. For example, we already have tire motion blur texture animation tied to wheel RPM, but what if we could have it a set of textures of tape covering air intakes attached to the value set on garage?

i wonder if ISI could cooperate with URD for a promo video (with disclaimer that 3rd party content is being shown)? the full WEC P1 grid, mixed w/ the GTE cars, w. a little less emphasis on day/night cycle but more on the cars + showing off realroad, drying line, etc...no other sim can offer that stuff, or even close.
There was a HUGE amount of passing. There were four classes in the race shown. They're just not stupid enough to pass there, although there still was quite a bit of it. This is a 2hr25min video sped up a LOT. You might not even see some cars in more than a few frames per lap, so I assume your eyes are forming the motion, same as they do with a clay animation or whatever.
I have the impression it is getting to dark around 20:00 - 22:00, as if the sky would not emit any light, am I alone with this impression?
