Can't wait for Belgium or Brianza to come, today's second race is going to be like "walking miss daisy" compared to those events LOL Bryan, as soon as we get the next event track we must try to practice the pit stops to see if the bug remains in the mod 1.0 version update. Also we must make sure which updates we are having. I am runing the 90 update (update, not a full install), 60's latest version, in an Windows XP SP3
I don't understand what you mean by "gift of insight" but I know I didn't "came and went in a flash"......I did know what was going on and people not responding was not the problem really, giving me wrong info to make me think I was to late to join all three races was what I take offense to. I said in the vote that I didn't vote because I didn't get to race anyway (thinking I came in to late). But; if your saying it's my own fault and problem; so be it and I have made the right decision.
This is the error my Xp registered. Looks like a graphical issue as it is a crash in the directx dll It's in spanish Aplicación con errores: rfactor2.exe, versión: 1.0.8.0, módulo con error: d3d9.dll, versión 5.3.2600.5512, dirección de error 0x00041b0c.
didnt say it was your fault, didnt say you where late. You made it clear that you were not racing, nobody blamed you and why should they. But you are assuming things that cannot be proven and you are making such a big fuss about things that are not really importand as yourself said. So please give it a rest, it seems u had a bad day today. End of comments from me, have a good nights sleep
I actually did want to race, I think you don't understand but I don't want to polite the forum anymore so enough said; took al my personal problems out of the forum because I must not whine; over and done.
I got following in the event log after rf2 crashed while i was in pit (maybe the developers see something useful): Event 1000, Application Error: Faulting application name: rFactor2.exe, version: 1.0.8.0, time stamp: 0x4fd78c32 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x30303040 Faulting process id: 0xc58 Faulting application start time: 0x01cd4ca414c67405 Faulting application path: D:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Core\rFactor2.exe Faulting module path: unknown Report Id: 957ddd42-b8b1-11e1-961c-40618648a678 Event 1001, Windows Error Reporting: Fault bucket , type 0 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: rFactor2.exe P2: 1.0.8.0 P3: 4fd78c32 P4: StackHash_0a9e P5: 0.0.0.0 P6: 00000000 P7: c0000005 P8: 30303040 P9: P10:
The problem tonight was a few things, there was a problem with the server before the race even started, it stalled and required a restart, then it had the wrong track and when that was fixed the usual practice setting (10 minutes practice, 10 minute qualify, 10 minutes race) was set to 'race day settings'. This resulted in a 'practice' session before the race being run with 'race night' conditions. So some people may have thought the first practice session was part of the race night. It was a night of mix ups and problems and most people came through it all with a positive experience but obviously not you, I'm sorry for that, I really am. At the end of the bad experience you've had you wanted to just race and have fun and you didn't get that. I can only say again that it was a confused night at times, no one had any bad intent towards you. I sincerely hope you join the server again as I think you said earlier your experiences (previously) were positive. Really, all I have seen there have been a great bunch of guys. Hoping to see you back online soon. Andy
What system are you running, to paste it in the post i've just opened http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...esting-pits-in-online-racing-d3d9-dll?p=75260
Thanks Andy, I promised via pb I didn't lay my problems here anymore so I keep it short, but thanks for the heads up.
Andy & Bryan, I hope my chatting in spanish was not confusing, sorry for it. Everton (that's his race name properly spelled?) was new and needed some fast hints in spanish. I prefer to chat in english for everybody to understand and avoid confusions, even with people from my own country.
Haha it was fun!!! Tried to translate with my limited knowledge of Latin and I came to ubsurd conslusions LOL. Vittorio have u seen Francenstine jr. by Mel Brooks?
LOL, i remember again, what a great scene http://letsnottalkaboutmovies.blogspot.co.at/2009/03/dont-make-scene-young-frankenstein.html
Mate I really appreciate it actually. We're an international group and I know it's not easy with a second language sometimes e.g. me in Germany big thumbs up and thanks
There's one doubt that has come to my mind when I was in bed. If you paint your own car, will it be visible to the rest of the drivers. If so, It would be great to be able to personalise every car, so we wouldn't have so many identical cars on track.
this will be a nice touch for sure, can't wait. First things first, lets getting running smoother. Some testing to be done
