DD's F3 ROOKIES - Changes to Room

That is the general idea, for my rookie room anyways

I take some blame as I stay in room but may be busy, working on a PC or have to lay down and miss the race end.

Depends if it is add-on tracks and how many drivers you have.
Most add rubber in no time so it is not such a worry.

I only get 4-8 in a 8 car room most nights even less since I have run the all tracks mod.
I rubber spa for 1 hour = 3 x 20minutes races =29 Ai x 15 laps = 400+ laps.

For average 4 drivers in my room to get rubber anywhere near as good would take 7 1/2 hours of constant lapping.

1. Personally I do not waste time I have for any laps on a green track.
2. Drivers can come in between their other races and lap near their PB's or better 2nd lap out.
3. It gives optimum line and grip for rookies which helps them learn faster.
4. Looks better.

Been trying to join your room for the last wee while but the "Join" button is greyed out for me and I`m told "No Mod Found" when the mod is installed as I was driving the F3`s/F2`s a wee while ago...

Got to go and get some kip now DD as it`s late here but hopefully I`ll get a few laps with you over the weekend.

New build is stonking eh.

 

Before you join mate offline the all tracks mod and F3.

Did you upgrade since All Tracks v1.02 is v1.03 now


Just get everything in this thread tjc, works with Build 107 fine.

Ok... I obviously have all the official ISI content installed but from what your saying I also need all the addon tracks too? All of them?

Another question for you DD...

You ever thought about having a room with the F2`s?

They rock as well as the F3`s.

 

Yes to run ALL TRACKS you need everything in the list.

No not really tjc, I happy to stick with F3s and a few circuits for now.

I want to do my bit to test and I find it easier concentrating on one car.

Truth be known if I did a league I would start in F3.
Never been one for driving more then a few cars a sim online.

F2 are great but they are not so good for rookies races.

I mean you could try and twist my arm, lol I do run BT20 now and then.

I did change non enforced names and some told me to change it back.

Out of 200+ i had 2/3 leave in disgust ( lmao ) and about 10 question it and seemed happy enough.

Mmmm I am guessing like you more prefer non-enforced then I expected.

Okay I know most of the regulars handles we try non-enforced names again.

Yes there is more then mountain you need to update but atm tracks escapes me.

Either check all download links ( to track thread) and make sure in mod manager you have all same versions.

Once you do open mod manager again v1.03 alltracks 1960 mod should be in name list but would say Installed NO , Right click and install.

Put that in setups then save it to mountainclimbing setup folder offline

No worries DD. I did mean in the room mate but was also refering to the last couple of posts you answered. I got the "tjc" instead of the normal "tj" from you... never mind mate I was just messing.

 

Yeh I am but just going to see if I`ve managed to get my "not being able to join your room" problems fixed up.

Well I`ve downloaded the tracks I was missing and installed everything still can`t join your room DD and now I`m getting a message in mod manager:

"Unable to install the following mods - Nissans at Fuji Speedway" and when I check what`s missing it`s telling me I`ve not got the 370z`s and GTR`s installed but I do!

Getting late here mate... if I can`t sort this soon I`ll have to catch you again.

 

Go into Mod manager / options and untick "show mods only" and make sure everything in list is installed YES

When you try to join my room you have what happening now ?

 

Everything is installed mate... I can see them all in the list.

I can`t join your room as when I install the 60`s mod v1.03 it`s telling me that Fuji and Mountain Forrest are not installed when they most definitely are. I was driving them just 5 mins ago.

Lost...

Gonna have to leave it for tonight DD but I`ll get this sorted up and lap soon.

 

Mountain forest v0.5 you may have v0.4 and Fuji v1.01 may be v1.00.
