No crash yet since January 31 Wednesday we will see soon if it will not http://217.16.12.195/vmliveview2/monitor.php
But I guess that doesn't help a lot ... However it's strange, cause I set up a test rF2 DS again just to see how the Plugin performs 24/7 continuously with max. AIs ... ( http://vxracing.de/vmliveview2/monitor.php ). So far no crashes ...
- The crash occurs at 20 minutes Memory? but when we removed the plugin, more problems - The AI do not crash the server, only real players crash the server
Hmm ... can u do me a favor and try it with a fresh installation of rFactor2 Build 382 and see what happens. Cause that's what I did. Haven't had an old one so I had to do it this way ... PS: Which version? .5D or .5S?
This might be the cause for the crashes if more than one custom plugin is in use. Please try again with ONLY 1 CUSTOM PLUGIN and see how it works ... This is currently my D:\Games\rFactor2 Beta\Plugins\.. folder structure: Code: ..\Plugins\.. |- Miles |- Qt |- NetCommUtilPlugin.dll |- VMHotlaps.dll
Sorry Frank, That's it, I clean the plugin folder the worst is that is that I saw this sentence, opening source files
No problem Val. But do I understand you right, that it works now with a "cleaned" plugin folder ... ? Thanks and Cheers Frank
Exactly what i've red in the sources, thanks to point this frank. I'm sure there is a little conflict somewhere, but we should debug to point where the problem is... And I think we ne need a debug version of rf2 binary. Perhaps we can ask the dev for this. They just havr to compile a release and a debug version. Without a debug version it's hard to know where it hangs. Or, we should implement loging of every function called, but it will be very verbose until it hangs!!!
Not yet, I have to wait until there is already that connects to know. Wednesday after 22h (10h PM GMT +1) you will be if the plugin does not crash
