    Fantastic filming and editing! I really love this video. How did you enable the heat mirage effect? I noticed it in some of your low angle shots. I haven't seen the mirage visual for a long time in my rf2. Do I need to edit some file to turn it on? Anyway your vid has inspired me to go drive the Howston more :)

    Road Reflections HIGH, it has been toned down somewhat since earlier builds so it's not as prominent, needs to be turned up abit IMO espcially on Hot days, hopefully when Humidity gets turned on that'll effect it better.

    Thank you mate. Regarding mirage, well, game is maxed, no special setting enabled :) I suspect it's a graphical bug more than anything, rF2 is still ridden with shadow problems etc.

    The new RealRoad shader came in for build 240, and Longford uses the new one. Reflections are handled differently between the shaders so it's possible that any track made before 240, or not using the new shader won't have the mirage. On my installation at least, the reflections broke in b300, so they're only really reflecting (or seeing through the road to) the sky currently. You can see in the last shot as the car comes up the rise, the mirage is actually seeing the tyres through the road, not reflecting the body above the road. It should work properly in 240 still though.
    But still, I like the vid a lot :)

    I'm happy that you guys like my video but honestly I think I could have done a lot better if I had given it more time than just saturday night. ;)

    Haha, yeah. As soon as I can live off of my YouTube income, I will most definitely put more time in these videos. But for now, I still gotta go to work. So spread the word guys! :D
