It's sims that push other sims. If Kunos had never done this ISI might not have bothered doing it. That's my opinion anyways.

Great feature! I`m thinking, will it be possible to setup camber after looking on a tire. If there is to much wear on the inside of a tire, then lower camber a bit, etc.

For the closed wheel cars it would be good to be able to see tires after run somehow. May be on a setup screen all 4 tires can rotate automatically to show wear. And I`m dreaming of a simple tire sets management, when you have X sets of tires for the weekend, and must decide: to risk putting flat spots and wear on a set in practice/qualy, or go conservative in qualy and save clear set for the race.

Thank you for the updates. Waiting for more.

Yutja is right, it would be useful some way to check the tires' aspect after any run session.

The real-time texture changing is very cool in open wheelers however it would be not necessary in touring cars (not able to see tires onboard). In addition, the wear calculations could still being done in order to render the tires after any hardtop car stopping. It'd be interesting to help to setup suspensions' geometry and add imersion (things to do) when your car is in the pits.

Just for those who can't maybe see it:

First image they look the same.
On the second image from the top, look at the tire grooves. On the left tire 1, 2 and 4 are normal. On the right 1 and 4 are normal.
Third image they both look pretty much the same.
Fourth image the grooves on the left tire and right tire no longer match again. No unaffected grooves on the left tire, only groove 4 on the right tire.

So it looks like as the run progressed the right front took normal wear and the left didn't get as much, but then the rf became so worn that it probably supplied less grip and when doing so put more wear onto the lf. Of course in a racing situation this setup might not be good for a short run, but for a long run the wear might actually even out. Still, a lot of this will also be about how you drive... We've all seen the difference in what Hamilton and Button can do with tires.

    That's a good question.

I also hope that things like flats spots, punctures and blowouts, pickup would affect onboard cameras (i.e vibration, sometimes massive).

If the next corner is a right corner and you lock the tires, you will do a flatspot on the front right tire. Clear and obvious (wonder if we will see the smoke when we will make one).
On the screen i see multiple marks of used tires (Greaning dunno how it is spelled).

If it is done, make it well. It's way too shy at the moment.

Will we see slow blowed tires (crevaison lente)
Will we see dirt on tires when going offtrack (grass) or offline (tire compound on the tires ?

    Dynamic graphical tires display ?

dude... you are completely wrong with that picture... at the end of the races F1 cars pick up lots of debrie... if the cars are underweight they can compensate that with it. That is not tire ware... thats lots of marbles attached to the tire.

    this is more likely:
