Thanks but these links don't give the steamid ... This is only a package, not the workshop 'paid' item. I need the name of the folder where the rfcmps are ... steamapps\workshop\content\365960\1234567 I can't download it right now and can't find these ids in steamDB yet, to update my server.
This is a different package. two separate cars. Dat's it. NO Freebie. You are about the 49th person with the same idea...It was confirmed last week it was a paid content release. However...the BTCC skins are indeed free so Merry Christmas!
For the ones interested, i found it ... Thanks @SulacoEEV 2904331050 > Porsche 992 Cup 2883380668 > Vauxhall Astra It would be cool to have them in the news by the way.
It would be interesting if S397 release NOW a 2023 THE COMPLETE PACK It would avoid a lot of complaints.
I have just purchased the two new cars. The 992 Cup appears in the UI under "Porsche", as to be expected, but the Vauxhall Astra appears in a "BTCC" specific section, which weirdly contains just the 2021 and 2022 Astra's but none of the other BTCC cars. I have all, except the BMW (not purchased Q4 pack yet) still in their old UI locations. Have the Ford, Infiniti, Hyundai and Toyota not been updated yet?
Im a bit confuesed now, i've got several different versions of each BTCC car, with the old and new liverys. Theres version No 1. something for one car and version no 1. somehting else for the same car. Is it best just to delete all the old versions of the cars now?
steam doesnt allow me to enter steam inventory and resub to the missing content which dissapeared after last update that means something for sure Sorry! An error was encountered while processing your request: The item is either marked as hidden or you do not have permission to view it.
I did some testing on the new content - the porsche in particular seems excellent. I did have a weird issue with the stock car 2018 - im usually a more or less locked 90 fps in vr, but in the stock car my fps dropped to 70-80. Confirmed this on daytona and watkins glen. Loading these tracks with different cars resulted in 90 fps as expected.
This line in the patch notes for the stock car 2018 'AI improvements (all tracks they run on).' What does that mean exactly? They seem to have configs (in customization) for a whole bunch of tracks that RF2 does'nt have apart from Indianapolis, is there a list of tracks the A.I. has been updated for, what about Daytona?
Porsche is really nice. 10/10 model, great sounds, handling very believable with a few setup tweaks. The brakes on this car are unexpected- its like trying to slow a container ship
Just tried BMW330 BTCC car, there's massively lower tyre degradation now, a bit pity IMO. Maybe deg was a bit to high before, but this is to much. They need to implement heat conduction from brakes soon to compensate that a bit. Couldn't feel much difference between compounds. Brake bias at the BMW is still to much to the front with bb setting as far to the rear as possible (which is default setting), is this intended? Handling doesn't seems to have changed, good!
Thank god *someone* knows the correct homophone of ‘hear’ for once (Annoys the hell out of me when people write ‘here, here’ instead
