Just look up "patient" in a dictionary... You'll see a b/w illustration of 57 (58?) people, calmly waiting for your cool track.
I give-up counting all people who stand up beyond my shoulder and watching me hitting the F5 key. So let's say : a lot of people are waiting on my side (1 more or 1 less). Don't mean to be pushy, I still have pizzas in the fridge to feed everybody here
Now 62 Zolder was one of my favorite tracks in rF with the DRM rev. mod. but take your time I can wait next or the week after next is also OK for me XDDD
Not very original but...........63.... Thnx for the pizza Yololo, i hope you have pasta for us tomorrow
A couple of people requested something already, I just might as well put the link here for download as well. Please keep this to yourself or at least on this forum. It's really just something to keep you happy for a while I don't know how otherworldly your expectations are, but I'd be careful not to be underwhelmed, there is just not that much going on in the track, yet. If you have driven previous dev versions or the singleplayer alpha, you should notice a big increase in the feeling of the road surface and some improvements in camber in a place or two. This is where most of the trouble has been and which has been time consuming. It has by no means the same accuracy as an iRacing version, but at least I'm happy with it so far. If you are smart you package the thing for your own use, but I really don't wish to see packaged versions floating around. I didn't do so myself for the simple reason it is not complete enough for a new alpha version. I want to have all the pitbuildings in there in some form, including the pitwall. When those are in, the gravel traps and marshal posts, then I will see about releasing a new alpha Enough talk, get the devmode version here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/wh5yxte998bd4kb/Zolder_devmode.7z Not sure which version it is exactly, could possible be some notes in there. Feedback is taken seriously so if you have it, feel free to leave it here for me to read, thanks for the support edit: I'm also curious how the Miata by Plickbadger runs on this track, seems like a natural match!
thx william very nice move of you I will do my best to report back a constructive feedback. Normaly I'm always to late with report back my observations because some others has done this faster them me but we will see
The track goes in the ModDev > Locations folder wajdi... New builds of rf2 have not included devmode now for some time. You download it from here The SDK.
I've done some racing with the Miata and it sure was a lot of fun! (5 seconds faster than my "fastest" lap time with a real Corvette C5 (and an instructor who didn't let me go full speed) ) Although this is an early alpha, it sure is race worthy! However, is it possible that there's an 100-sign missing right before the Bolderbergbocht? I hope that when my C4 Corvette is finished, I can use this track for a promo video.
Probably long overdue, but an update nonetheless, the RTL Club building modelling is mostly done. All the windows and doors are temporary, they will be replaced with textures to optimize the triangle count The aircon units and that sort of stuff will be built all separately from the buildings later.
