WSGT2 Megane Trophy for rF2

Did some racing at Poznan and Hockenheim. It's just fantastic. A small and light car that's lightning quick and that rewards precision and fast hands. Looks really good too. I wish I could bump up the AA to appreciate it even more.

Amazing gear and car sounds. ;)

Very detailed car and cockpit.

Only feel my ffb wheel downstart a lot when be outroad track at green.

Thanks, very good car bsim.

How similar are the two cars (ISI vs. this one) in real life?

I am interested in what aspects of the differences between them (which are vivid) are caused by differences in what is being modelled versus HOW it is being modelled by the obviously talented modders.

Awesome mod! ISI megane was my favorite ISI car and these one are even better (may be! but they are not as different as some would say).
For me they are the best non-ISI cars except URD EGT cars (Darche EGT especially) that are wonderful cars too.

[I use T500RS wheel with windows settings= 40% (overall) and 100%(constant)/100%(periodic)/0%/0% (spring and damper)
with FFB multi= 0.90 or 0.95 (for meganes and the Darche)]

Holy Mackerel!
I just experienced this car for the first time at VLM's Mid Ohio...need I say more?
This is without a doubt the best car/track combination in RF2 or any other sim I currently drive for that matter.
No screwing around with suspension or any other settings. It's just pure driving pleasure.

Wow incredible work guys! To me this model seems superior to the ISI one, dare I say that? The engine sounds are awesome! The only small thing I noticed is the upshift sounds are a little strange/repetitive. Once you focus on hearing that upshift sound it's hard to not let it stand out so much. It could very well be what the car really sounds like, but I think it would be much improved if the sound level of the upshift was lowered a bit. It's just a little loud imo. Really really nice job though love it!

I made a run at poznan ...oh oh ..the graphics looks marvellous finally the lightning makes sense! ! The car cockpit/exterior looks brillant !! And unbelievable manageable to the limit!! Sound of the motor perfect! APPLAUSE WITH STANDING OVATION!!!!!

+1 :) I can not say it better. Thx pas74

There's already an ISI Megane. 3rd party mods should be kept in the 3rd party area IMHO- esp. when that mod replicates an already existing official mod.

RFactor is designed for mods, it's sales strategy and life is based on and dependant on 3rd party mods. I don't think top quality mods like this should be in subsections.

I just found this mod because I pressed the wrong button on my tablet app. If I hadn't pressed that wrong button, or if I wasn't using the app and just viewing the forum from the normal website then who knows how long until I would have found out about this release :)

At least have a sticky thread on the main forum section announcing the release of the mod, and in that thread have a link to the new official release thread (not the preview thread) in the third party mods section. Call both sticky threads "RELEASED (3P) - Xxx by Xxx - Vx.xx". "3P" stands for 3rd party.

Have both of those threads be stickies for quite a while, and do the same everytime there is a patch/update for the mod, regardless of how small/large the patch/update may be.

It would really help spread awarness of mods, possibly increasing user-base/sales, rather than people having to everyday manually check the 3rd party mods section (not to mention that the release of the new Megane wasn't even in a new thread but just another post in an old thread).

Just trying to help with organization and awarness in order to make mod releases more structured and standardized across the board.

I agree somewhat with Spinelli. Awesome mods should get exposure and ISI should be able to help without any implication of having to support, etc. That said, I still wouldn't highlight it if I were ISI :p Sim racing websites are doing a decent job of announcing new stuff and also screenshot and video threads are good to check too. Too bad that dude that was doing the rf2 news video bailed.
