WSGT2 by RMT

Here's an article on the Sintura S99 GT1. Check page 5 for a good cockpit shot.

EDIT: The forums seem to down-size attachments. Here's the cockpit shot at full resolution:

Awesome looks really good and I for one can not wait for it to be released. Already enjoying rf2 and glad I decided to pay for it early and get to spend more time using it. Thanks everyone ISI staff and modders who have worked and are still working hard to create enjoyable content for rf2.

Can I ask if the test videos were run on the system quoted in your profile please?

I've been watching this mod like a hawk for months now. Truly cannot wait for it's release, especially as it seems the sounds will match the visuals! I'm wondering how you intend to match the cars' performance to create close racing if at all? Will you go for a class-based system? I'd imagine there would need to be some fairly serious liberties taken with the real world cars' performance if you intend to equalise say the 458 with the TS020 with the GT500 cars for instance!?

Also, there were some initial WIP shots of the GT3 RSR kicking around. Has this model been finished? Do you have a list of cars you intend to produce? Will you be tackling any GT3 cars?

Keen to donate to your project too, although it may have to wait until payday... :D

The test videos where done on two systems.

i7 2600 + Geforce 570GTX + 16Mb Ram

AMD Phenom II 940 + Geforce 285GTX + 4 Gb Ram

The model was not optimised, and when we do de LOD´s performance will even go up.

We might do a realistic set , and an equalised League version . Every car will have a counterpart.
But it actually to soon to say. We will tacle that problem when it is relevant.

Thank U for the nice comments.

Here we go.
As usual, a quick and dirty Test report video. Nothing much to say, really. All went well, and at first sight there where no major problems.
We did a fast 20 car on track test, and even with unoptimised models, the framerate was really good. The engine promises to deliver. Arnold will probably write new shaders, and i will update textures accordingly. Rick started work on our Sound database again, while Klaas is doing some testing and is working on his new favourite Classic model. Expect to see the first full shots of the Ferrari 458 soon.
All is well at RMT

Beautiful! what pc are you running it on?

keep up the great work!

16 Gb ehehe

It would be nice to make a rFm for championship with the same physics for every car. So the grid would be full of different cars with same lap times.

And off course a rFm with physics for every cars.

I agree in principle, but when it comes to GT racing I like to see more realistic differences in the cars (though this can sometimes be a negative when you end up in a field of 30 cars and 24 of them are the same vehicle).

I am truly excited for this mod.

www.touringproseries.com will be fully supporting and donating to the WSGT team, and we intend to run the 2nd season of AGTC (American GT Championship) on this mod in the future. The plan is to aim for between 75-150 entries for the league and have them race over 2 or 3 servers.

Keep up the good work, truly looking forward to showcasing your work.
