I just checked my workshop folder, and it is 87 gb. Can I delete the contents? And if so, what are the consequences? I'd like to free up some space on my SSD. Or, is there a way to move it to my 1 TB HDD? and leave Steam on my SSD?
Have a look here. By the way, you can install the game anywhere you want, you just need to point it to the proper destination folder at install time. If instead you only want to move the additional content to a secondary HD, then that thread will be useful. I did it myself and it works properly.
