Hello to everybody! After several years I decide to make my first circuit. I chose as it: Lohéac Rallycross track!!! (France) (World Championship Races this weekend!!!) The task risks not to be simple because I'm a beginner (on 3ds max) but I am motivated (what seems to me important) and I know that the community will be there to help me! I am at the beginning of the 3D modelling , I put 2,3 textures just to have a simple render (without working them really). I shall make for you a frequent reporting of the 3D progress, texturing works, problems (which will be many and everyday life) and realized tries. I tell you bye for now! On ground and on asphalt! Ben (If someone can correct my bad english, it will be greats!!!)
Hello! Here is my first question to ISI: Is it possible to create a "Joker" lap in the AIW? If yes, how?
I'm sorry I can't help you, but I will give you support I visited Loheac in 2011 and it was a great Museum - everyone from this site should go there if they get a chance
Hello! Some news about my project! 1 - For some reason i'm re building all what i have done with Mario Morais 3ds max Scripts (better mesh) Here is my first 3dsmax file. Mesh are not good: Old Track Old Track Mesh Detail New Track New Track Mesh Detail 2 - I have made my first test on texture One thing you got to know is that i'm going to make my own texture for this track. To do that i bought a pole (3 x 2 meters long) to shoot my photography. View attachment 14253 Yesterday i made my first test on a small road and the resultat seems good to me! 40 meters of asphalte Texture Test 4096 x 1024 (direct link is only preview!!!) (to open it, clic on the link and then right clic, download it and just open it)
I like how you used your phone as a hanger On other note, textures are really great, new feels3 is born!
Hello, Today i went to shoot some texture during 2h00 After 6 km walking and 100 photos for an average of 12 textures, there, i'm having a break, drinking a beer in a little bar My eyes are burning because of sun! This is awesome because people thinks i'm crazy with my pole and my camera!
Hehehe, that looks like fun. And yeah, I know the feeling of getting funny looks from everyone . Too bad there was full sunshine during your shooting session. Light cloud coverage conditions generally produce the best reference shots for texturing/albedo maps because you don't have to edit out the shadows which are ... everywhere. Good luck with your project!
