Hi Navigator. Thank you very much this is great ! I believe the Mclaren and Mercedes sounds are a bit messed up though. They sound fine when you accelerate but I think its the wrong sounds when not under throttle? Could be me who is mistaking though. Anyway the sounds are much much better so thanks for your work !!

 

I felt there was to much grip at first , then done a lot of testing with 2 different league ,---- Full Fuel---race simulation and this felt a different beast , great fun , the tyres falling away felt nice on the edge .
The tyres can wear far to quick sometime but this can be down to locking up , a fix is to have break pressure down as much 65% track dependent .

Racing this mod at isi Silverstone against the AI can be great fun , AI aggression put to 15% and AI strength 107 or 110 or what will suits you , start at the back hard tyres and enjoy the ride .

I thought the sound of those teams were like that as I didn't alter them; I changed places. But something could have gone wrong; that's what I meant by being blind after all the changing.
But no problem; I change it and upload the new version.
I will post here if the link is updated. Changing takes one hour (now I know how to do that) and uploading about two, so in about 3 hours, there's a new one!

I want to take the Ferrari sound in there, is that okay? There are only 3 sounds in the JDT mod, so several cars have the same anyway.

Yes I could imagine you could easily change up some files and maybe that is just what has happened. I really appreciate that you want to do this

once i download this i think ill be using the ISI f1's with the tracks ( they are a good match? )

cant stand the thought of even more grip ( which appears to be the case with the rft's )

shame they simply did not just supply a set of skins for the ISI f1's

Are you guys willing to try something out?
I heard a lot about the high grip (what I personally like) but I thought; lets try something.

Now I don't have the knowledge to do this in a professional way, but I did manage to lower the grip of all the dry tires with 10%. At least, I think I managed
Can you guys try it out and see what you think about it now?
I tested just a bit, but can't do it proper tonight. So I thought I'd upload, and let you guys try it out too; the guys saying this grip is to high, can feel if this is what they like.

Upload still busy, in about an hour (maybe two) I post the link (and cross my fingers)

 

BTW Mibrandt, I didn't change the Ferrari sound; I just took it to the Mercedes and McLaren's too.

Ah, I didn't say that did I? Nope, the file on page 21 is the proper sounds now and the one I'm going to put in here new in a while is the one with proper sounds AND adjusted grip.
Download stopped and it had to start al over again after 89%.........

 

Hi Navigator - thank you. Works a charm I hate to be a pain it the .... but... The Mclaren sounds were actually the best sounds imo, so IF you ever do make an update it would be cool to have them in as well

Strange; I just tested my original JDT mod and it sounded like the McLaren and Mercedes in the first mod I made? So it was okay.....well.....as I had it.
But now I suppose my install of that mod, the original one, must be broken?
I see what I can do, but that is not going to be very soon I'm afraid; have to get the mod again and as this one was pretty fresh, I think the link where I got it from is not okay.........
I dive into that in the near future though!

Yes the Mclaren and Mercedes were in the first edition but their sounds when off the throttle were strange - mixed up or something. The ON throttle were good. Nevermind this is excellent so dont spend anymore time - I thank you once again !

 

I can spend some more time on it; want to do it proper.
I just meant that in my JDT download, the original sound was like that. So I have to look for another download for this mod that is okay; mine must have been damaged.
Going to need some time, but I will look at it, no problem!
