Windowed mode

When I load in windowed mode it does not load in a window frame with task bar at the bottom. It is still in full screen like borderless window mode. Anyone got any ideas?

 

Maybe your task bar is auto hiding. You could try these settings like "Always on top"

 

No, I can confirm OP behavior. Windowed looks like borderless now. I guess it's a bug.

 

try on the sides and on top of the screen to see, its a guess

 

Definitely no task bar anywhere on the screen and when tested with windows to display side by side RF2 takes up the whole screen it is not in a window that can be resized and has no task bar. This does not seem like window mode to me. I also set developer to be opened using window mode still same result for both.

 

Yep, this was how it worked since the beginning, so no way as far as I know to get the window borders to display.

 

If your window is the size of your desktop, where would you like the taskbar to be drawn? Have you tried using a lower resolution?

You can't resize a game window, it's running a particular resolution.
