Will AI ever get logical race strategies, or will we ever be given any opportunity to setup proper race strategies for the AI? Is it not within possibilites to develop this? AI on track is great but their strategy sucks, in every mod and official cars... e.g AI cars reasonably pitting to repair wing damage at 85% race distance and then going for hardest compound and refueling way too much.
If you've been reading around the forums for any length of time you will undoubtedly have seen other people looking for information on AI as well. The developers have acknowledged the AI need some love. But, currently they are elbows deep in getting the UI and Competition Infrastructure ready for beta testing. I expect that once that gargantuan undertaking has been mostly completed they will start to concentrate on some of the other complaints leveled at the simulator. AI being one of them. Patience will be needed on this one though.
