For me these are the cars i want in every sim. Pretty much the only reason why i like Project cars.
I couldn't agree more. The Ginettas are the only cars I miss from Pcars. I'll be greedy - I'd like the G40, G55 GT4 and G55 GT3 please!

Nah, I think the Ginettas are too fast...

I thought the poll was specifically about the GINETTA G40 *JUNIOR *.

I have trouble reading.

Because I have nothing against Ginetta, just the junior G40 does not suit me for a simulation like rf2.

I would rather see a serial car like the Lotus Exige S (in the same spirit but significantly more powerful).

I think a lot of players overrate monster cars, everyone want to race F1 or driver killer cars, but truth is, a lot of people, especially newbies lack the skill to manage them. I see this a lot with leagues that setup F1 championships and the like, maybe they even dumb down a bit the car to make newbies be able to finish a race and to level the things up. The end result instead is that fast players can be even faster, and slow player take a long time to catch up the lack of experience... and newbies give up the championship halfway. We should see more racing with cars like these Ginettas, people will have fun and set the foundation to learn fast driving. There are little thing frustrating like trying to learn fast driving on a F1.

Does Sim Racing Club still use the 370Z for the 'newbie' races? Think a Ginetta would suit that down to the ground.

They are happy to do business with Reiza and SMS, so why not? Never imagined Ginetta as the 'Linda Evangelista of sims' (like Lamborghini now Ferrari did a deal with them recently)

Well... just the opposite right now. Sad :(
One of the most interesting statements about track building came from some NLS racers who had practiced on a sim. There were several bumps not present in the sim that the drivers knew about, but had to remind their muscle memory once on track and encountered the bumps for real again. Ginetta has no reach beyond England, that I can tell, certainly not here in the States. Not sure about how prevalent they are on the continent. But NORDS??? I love Ginetta's dna(including their partnership with Zytek), some of the the old mods for F1 2k had the most awesome sounding V8 Ginettas. But NORDS? and laser scanned at that? C'mon....
sorry eRacer, that was not directed at you, but the same guy you responded to.

Bumping for the ginetta license; the juniors are fun as hell, a new GT4 is overdue and a prototype would only be the icing on top.

I think Ginetta cars would be a great Addition to rf2, Would definitely drag me away from the Caterham Classic. I've no interest in 300mph cars going in a straight line, stuck to the track like 5h17 to a blanket, and letting the onboard computer take care of me when a corner turns up.

I miss the day's when driving a car meant exactly that.

Blyton Park doesn't exhist in rFactor2, only in rFactor1. It was made a long time ago, based on the plan/drawing around the same time the real track was built in real life. a lot has changed since the original drawings, but its far better then whats available in assetto corsa, and what SimTrack (Ginetta) use at there sim centre.

rFactor1

Assetto Corsa

SimTrack (Ginetta)

Obviously, the rFactor1 version can be converted to run on rfactor2 fairly easily.

Thank you for the information - do you have any suggestions where I can download Blyton Pk for RF1 ?

Regards

Always cool to have 'niche' tracks for RF2. I hope you can get it to work and look better, hopefully with acceptable AIW :)
