I've been so confused in which version of the service i should pick. Because my RF2 doesnt display the new rain effects, cars looks super weird. and i'm about 98.3% sure i'm not using DX11. Could anyone help me out? Thank you Merry Christmas and Happy Easte.. eh 2018
The first time you fired up rf2 after the December build release,steam should have automatically chosen the latest dx11 build,and downloaded the game all again. Try varifying the files in steam,and if that doesn’t initiate the install,try v1109 if that doesn’t do it I’d just probably uninstall and reinstall
The second from bottom, v.1109, is the one with DX11 and new rain effects. You need to delete Shaders and Cbash folders before running v1109. Mind recommended video settings from S397. Whipers work so far on the cars that have been updated. So if you use some custom car you'll most probably miss the effects.
