Just curious to see which of the GT3 cars you all feel "fastest" in. My upcoming GT3 season starts in January and I'm still trying to choose.
I've been driving the Merc in our GT3 series and have found it to be brilliant off the line and in slower corners where torque is required but get my arse handed to me on longer straights. I think all cars have their strengths and weaknesses and it probably comes down to driver preference at the end of the day.
Mclaren for overall pace for me , down here ,up there but overall the balance and drivability in long races makes it my choice
I find the McLaren is the easiest to go fast in. It forgives mistakes. It takes turns fast. It's pretty fast on a straight when set up properly. I had the most difficulty with the Callaway. I had a tough time cornering in it. So, I pick it as my car. I like a challenge.
The McLaren is wicked quick in turns. The Radical is very well balanced and carries a ton of speed but suffers on long straights unless you sacrifice downforce. The Bentley I haven't driven too much or the Merc. The Callaway is fun. That thing is permanently angry. And, if you let it draft on a long straight it will eat you up!
The Vette is the fastest. But they're all pretty close. However, I like the Radical for a nice easy and fast drive.
The Vette is weird in that it always sounds like it's not going fast or accelerating quickly etc. All my best times are with the Vette.
I gave the Merc and the Bentley a good try this weekend and I must agree. I like the Merc the most as it is a tire eater. You can drive it sideways as fast as hell but, in the end, you'll pay. Finding the right set up to last has been a challenge for me. S9M has been mandatory. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm not sure what you're waiting for in your poll : - The fastest car in our opinion (I think that's it) OR - The one we prefer (with which we have the most feeling). The best feeling: It's the Mercedes thanks to its great FFB, then it's the Radical.
