When I Shut Down RFactor 2, Steam Says It's Still Running

I have the same problem with rfactor2 on Steam that won't close. Attached image link in imgur. If I point to these two squares and hit finish then it does close rFactor on Steam but I don't know what to do so I don't have to open the task manager every time to close it.

i resolved it previously( long ago ) by removing the logi profiler , however in the latest build the problem has persisted again

all my steam friends are in rf2 - it leaves you on your friends lists as still in game
clicking 'stop' in steam ends it , occasionally it stops on its own - but mostly not
i have to think its a game breaker if your game wont close - it kind of a key part of making games - you want them to open sure - but users have to be able to close it too
 
1 - open any text editor
2 - paste this code:
taskkill /F /IM rfactor2* /T
3 - save as (all types) name it something like killRF2.bat (.bat is mandatory) in somplace easy to find after an ALT-TAB
4 - thanks me later

I use it for my dedicated server (yes also the dedicated server won't close) but I think it should work also for RF2

ps: Be aware, this batch close EVERYTING named "rfactor2somethingelse.anything". So if you have a dedicated server on your PC it will close also the server.
If you have multiple servers it will close all the servers.
