Is it running 1/2 out of synch?
Right after I updated, this happened.
I had to restart rF2 twice, then I noticed that my controller setup was set with a 10% deadzone.
Set the deadzone back to 0% ,restarted then all was fine again.

It won't calibrate in the driver for the wheel or anywhere (sim)?

    Hiya jim

The wheel is perfect in iracing & in win7 calerbration etc. was fine in rf2 before new build,

I'm starting to think its the dreaded max number of controllers thing like in rf1

Rf2 is unusable for me now just like rf1, starting to wish I never bothered with it in the first place

Everything seems to affect you... Sorry for the bad luck there, Adrian. I hadn't heard of this before and you're the only report. I've let them know about you.

Nothing should have changed in regards to Windows 7 (we did have to disable some stuff for Win8). The max numbers of controllers is 6, and that should actually work now. How many controllers do you have plugged in?

    Hiya

Thanks for the responses, I have a stack of stuff plugged in, not sure which count as controllers (rf1 is a no no due to max number Of controllers I think, now same problem with rf2 on this build )

Sli pro display (using buttons connected to this)
Peddals ( custom using Derek spere circuit board )
Bondar wheel ( works fine in win7 & iracing & prior rf2 builds but not this build)
4dof Motion ( using simexperience interface x1 USB plugged in)
Headphones ( 5.1 plugs into sound output jacks but plugs into USB for power & volume detection )

Calibration was quick & easy on all prior builds

I sent a short vid into rfactor support of what happens
I've tried deleting all the controller profiles in the rf2 folder as well as trying to calibrate from each one

I did a complete fresh install of rf2 when the new build came out

The number of controllers should be the same as what comes up in the Control Panel -> Game Controllers.

Could you add the command-line "+trace=2", run once and quit out, then give us the resulting file (UserData/Log/trace.txt)?

    hiya Terence

yes I will do that no problem, where do I add that text please?

-is it right click on the rf2 shortcut & add it on to the end of the target text ????

OK, I was looking for the successful initialization of controllers. It looks like there were 4, is that the same number you see in the Control Panel -> Game Controllers?

No I'm not looking for generic hardware. Just press the Windows Start button, type "Game Controllers" into the search box and it should bring it up. It should have a list of game controllers. The title of the box should be "Game Controllers". For example, my current one at work has the following list:

    ClubSport Wheel
    Clubsport Pedals

It's called 'set up usb controllers' in my W764 control panel search, when you click it, the window it opens is Game Controllers. I guess you can thank Microsoft for making things confusing there. :)
