I don't know if this is an appropriate place to be asking this, but it's the only forum I'm active on..

Anybody know what happened to Todd Cannon of Cannon Simulation Technologies?

I'd preordered his wonderful looking gated shifter back in early february and haven't heard anything back after many emails.
I've tried contacting them for 6 months now with no reply and now I'm looking for a refund. I may be out $250usd..

Anyone at all have any insight into what's happening with those guys?

For the record, I PMed the OP with Todd Cannon's home address and phone number. It may or may not be still current. It's worth a phone call though, right?

Ordered the gearshift on July 24 of last year and paid a $250 deposit. No response to numerous emails over that period of time. The recommended response from a lawyer was to file a claim in small claims court.

I actually heard that his website was riddled with a back door trojan of some sort of virus that has compromised many computers, theres some bad writups on RD website about CST.

I am not sure it is applicable in your location but this is why the small claims process exists.

Even if you did pay via paypal. Explain the situation and ask for it back. they are pro consumer usually.

I would start looking at every avenue if you haven't already.

I'll actually be driving through his town on the way to somewhere else in about 3 weeks. I'd rather avoid jail though.

Sadly there's been the same negative feedback about him on ISR. No response, no refund... hate to hear that stuff.

This is really sad. At one point he had the number one pedal on the market, at an OK price point, and could have really gone somewhere. I do think folks need to be more organized, you need to go into it together. You won't get all your money back, but you'd hurt him more. It would also make the process more affordable to each of you.
