hi. i want to reinstall win10 and i want to know: 1. What files to save from my documents? 2. my steam games are on D: disc , so how to reinstall game after fresh win10 install, to avoid huge GB downloads with DLC, if my steam games atm are on D: disc? asking cos previous time after fresh install steam didn't see steamapps folder content on other drive. And i needed to delete it and create new one with endless download hours.
But if the game is on a D partition you leave it there windows install it on C The problem DOES NOT EXIST!
userdata folder installed folder You can move it to your new steam library then "install" and Steam will verify the existing files and add the rest that are missing.
And Packages folder too. Be careful copying your old userdata folder to the new installation, because you can port old errors to tye new installation.
