What does rFactor 2 have for cheat protection?

    I didn't just read the memory, I also changed the memory. I was able to manipulate the pit menu from the tool and then pit and verify that it actually took the tires I requested from the tool.

    I think simply shuffling the offsets around at startup or each time a session starts would knock out 99% of the cheating. Static offsets just makes it too damn easy.

    I began to develop an Anti-cheat system based in the same system that you are talking about but i abandonned the project due to two reasons. The lack of time (too busy for this project), and the big work to do every time a new buil is released.
    I think that the continous build releasing benefits the cheaters, because they only have to find a few data, but you need to find a big amount of data to develop an anti-cheat system.
    I got the conclusion that the best thing would be that ISI include anti-cheat values in the rFInternals plugin.
