also visible on S397 corvette C6 ZR1 indy500 safety-car (when we were testing different cars) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=537633313 i am not sure if it was the car "stock" from steam workshop or if we repacked it and maybe be damaged some textures... these are screens form last year. i dont know if camera angle has an effect and level of details too.
so yes it was S397 daytona when we did a roar test of 4h DPI/P2/GT3 + acura dpi ASMG F12 screnshots dont remember if it was live or on pause in game screens
@Matt21 I still can not reproduce it. Even with lower Texture, Detail... Settings, the Problem doesn't appear. Did you see the Problem in Single Player too or only on the Server?
corvette ZR1 was single player 911 was on mulitplayer during online tests we had two manually driven safety cars not AI
For me server was on v1133 and the Safety Car was driven by me. Maybe there is no problem with the AI SC ...
I did drive the SC by my own in all Test that i did make now, because that is the only Way, to directly control the Lights. But another Aspect: was it my original SC from the Workshop or a customized one, that you did use?
Thanks for that Info, but @DanRZ did say, that it happened on a 1133 Server too. I hope i can reproduce it. If i can't, i will not modify anything, because i can not check anything, when i don't have the Problem.
Solution is probably into lights. There is probably another way to do lights or copy/adapt the Corvette ones. Never had such issue with the Corvette. Maybe someone from S397 can help too ...
@DanRZ As said, as long as i can not reproduce it, i can not modify anything and i will not simply take possible Solutions from Others. I can and will only Fix Problems, that appear or can be reproduced on my Machine. I hope you understand that. And i don't know if you mean the same Corvette that @Matt21 has mentioned in the above Post, but with that it happened too, as you can see on his Screenshots.
He was on a previous version and the bug on the Corvette seems to be corrected. S397 has probably apply a solution or know the problem. I'm a developer, and it happens that we need to correct errors by doing guess and trials. Some critical issues not reproductible have no other ways of finding a solution but you can't let them as is. And most of them get a solution or a workaround at least ... At this point, i will try another SC or just get back to the default, which is sad. I love this SC, but i also can't keep these random squares appearing on streams which are very annoying. Most of players won't see the issue ... not mentionning a big part of them doesn't care about a bad Safety Car they never see or appreciate. Here, the workaround is to not use lights, which is sad, again or maybe use lights always on.
@DanRZ I'm no Developer, what i'm doing here is my Hobby. And for me, it's unsatisfying to do something, without to know why. I had my own little Workshop where i repaired Cars. If i would have worked in a "Trial and Error" Way, i would have had to shut down the Business after 1 Year, as latest. The WEC Safety Car has 1600+ Subscribers and only 2 Problem Reports of this kind. That's a good Rate. I nevertheless will continue investigating. BTW Feel free to fix it on your Side, that you can still use it.
I know a few workshops who work better, in some cases, by testing some corrections and don't wait for a precise diagnostic they will never have and let users on their side, even for one user alone. Personal example : Electronics problems, probably connectors not working well. They had to try a few of them during 5 days before finding the one not working. Was i suppposed to tell them exactly the one in fault ? Or maybe wait 1600+ users to have the same exact issue ...
