And he is right. Although I know people trash NASCAR, it is one of the greatest indications of what setup adjustments and subtle differences do to a track and car. You often, very often, will hear that a person got some cloud cover and was able to take Pole due to it because the times in NASCAR are so tight. But then NASCAR (and a lot of races in the USA) deal with 35+ degree days way more often than most of Europe.
By island I assume you mean Australia and just for the record I did live in Europe for over 10 years (and I'm of European background)! See you on track soon!
