Hi guys new to the forum and sim racing. I have downloaded the game and followed the instructions for VR on the "Rfactor2 the vr thread - settings and tips" thread but I am still having problems. When I change to launch in VR the game freezes on the initial opening logo page. If i put it back to non vr it works. Ive been researching all day and cant find a fix. Its driving me crazy!! Please help! PC specs - Geforce GTX 1070 - I7-6700k 4.00ghz - 32gb ram
Have you downloaded steamVR? Is it opening? Have you opted out of beta version of rF2? Right click game in steam / properties / betas / select opt out On the launcher / settings / video settings / VR try HMD+mirror Any more info you can add about what you have tried would be helpful
Yes steam vr is downloaded. No I’m on the beta version as recommended on another thread on here. When i click on single player it launches the oculus program. Yes I’ve selected vr mode in the settings on rf2. It also lists my two other monitors on there. I don’t know what else to tell you really.... hope you can help! U
Opt out of betas then it will work....fingers crossed Right click game in steam library / properties / betas / select opt out
I do not know why but after this last update and I do not know the reason, the screen on the track decenters the image for 1 second it moves away and returns to focus, this is very annoying in the race, ... I have verified that other colleagues It also happens ... .... Does anyone know if there is a solution?
