VM LiveView Lite for rFactor & rFactor2

But it still hangs like the one Frank compiled on April 2013...

Did you manage to observe this bug on your dedicated servers?
 
I fear i can not compare our servers with yours, because we don't run leagueraces on them.
They are online for everyone who likes to race on them.

So the stress for them isn't too big i guess.
But we never had any crash and i've installed the 04/2013 version as it is, with only some customisation of the websites.
 
If you want you can try to crash our server :).

There is one online with the default clio and default tracks so that everybody should be able to join.
Or do the crashes just happen with third party mods/tracks?

I want use VM live plugin for extract real time data.
but i don't understand how works the plugin.
where are create the data who are extract from rfactor 2 ?

1) Must use wamp or Xampp or any other similar software ( I not teach you to use it, you must change the root password for mysql)
2 ) Copy the folder Vmliveview found in the archive Apache / Htdoc in the WWW folder Wamp .
3 ) A. Edit this section in the file inc.config.php :
$ siteURL =
With the address of your live view
( By default in wamp is 0.0.0.0/vmliveview ( 0.0.0.0 = Server IP )
3) B. Change in inc.config.php this part with your own identifying file ( does not create a database before, you can also create the database before with step 4 )

4) Open your browser ( on the dedicated server ) and go to the following address :
localhost / vmliveview / setup.php
5) Fill in the form and you need to change the root password for mysql

6 ) You must have all green at the end .
7) Now, in the RAR archive , there are two folder that interest us :
- rFactorSL
rFactor 2 -
Copy the contents of rFactor 2 folder at the root of the game
Copy rFactorSL anywhere
8) In rFactor SL folder, edit the file with the given rFactorSL.cfg connection you enter the setup.php page.
9) Start rFactorSL always the first (and you shut down the server first and last SL close rFactor )
Click start and run the server dedicate rFactor 2 .
If everything is ok at the database , shows rFactorSL database: open
Errors may be found in this mini tutorial


[MENTION]1) Faut utiliser wamp ou Xampp ou tout autre logiciel du même genre (je vous apprend pas à l'utiliser, il faut modifier le mot de passe root de mysql )

4) Ouvrez votre navigateur (sur le serveur dédié) et rendez vous à l'adresse suivante :
localhost/vmliveview/setup.php
5) Renseignez le formulaire et vous devez changer le mot de passe root de mysql

6) Vous devez tout avoir en vert à la fin.
7) Maintenant, dans l'archive RAR, il y a deux dossier qui nous intéressent :
-rFactorSL
-rFactor 2
Copier le contenu du dossier rFactor 2 à la racine du jeu
Copier rFactorSL n'importe où
8) Dans le dossier rFactor SL, modifier le fichier rFactorSL.cfg avec les donnés de connexion que vous avez rentrer dans la page setup.php.
9) Démarrer rFactorSL toujours en 1er (et vous fermer le serveur en premier et fermer rFACTOR SL en dernier )
Cliquer sur start et lancer le serveur dédier rFactor 2.
Si tout est ok au niveau de la base de donnée, rFactorSL indique database : open[/MENTION]

Il se peut que j'ai inclus des erreur.

Otherwise we are forced to use the invite command

NOTE : Erreur s'est glissé et je l'ai auto corriger dans le tutoriel.
Vous devez modifier le mot de passe de root avant sur phpmyadmin et modifier le fichier après.

Sinon on est obliger d'utiliser l'inviter de commande
 
Ben je l'utilise toujours plus...même pas essayer sur le nouveau serveur
Faudra j'essaye mais comme déja dit, si faut X personnes à chaque fois...déja que rFactor 2 n'est pas très stable de base :p

Frank à été sur le serveur mais malheuresement le serveur n'était activé, les mises a jours pas faites.
J'ai tout fait et plus de réponses.
Maintenant on a un serveur tout propre donc bon

Je vais faire en français Lucky, que veux tu dire pour le root password de MYSQL ?
Faut qu'il soit compliquer comme mot de passe ? je pense que oui logiquement comme tout mot de passe:

Sauf que je suis sur mon pc et non le serveur et du coup ça change rien car j'ai tout supprimer. c'était juste pour la vidéo. J'héberge rien.
